At Waterbbq you experience the combination of barbecue and sailing with a bbq donut boat. The bbq donut boat is a round-shaped boat with a barbecue or wine cooler in the middle that can accommodate up to 6 people.

While sailing you can connect your phone to the speakers to listen to your favourite music.

Upon arrival, the barbecue will be lit and briefly explained how the boat works. After everyone is on board, the Water BBQ experience can begin!

The area of sailing is rich in sights. You will sail past the oldest working windmill in Amsterdam and many houseboats. When you arrive at the lake called The Nieuwe-Meer you can turn off the engine and enjoy the skyline of the Amsterdam Zuidas and the relaxing Amsterdam forest. Besides, The Nieuwe-Meer is also the perfect location to take a swim!

1. Do you need a driving license to sail with the bbq donut boat?
No, there is no license required to drive the BBQ donut boat.
2. Is the use of alcohol allowed?
Use of alcohol is allowed! However, the captain must be sober at all times. Before departure, it is agreed in consultation with Waterbbq who the captain is.
3. Do you have to provide a deposit?
Yes. Before departure, a deposit of €100 in cash must be provided.
4. Can you sail in the canals?
No, it is not allowed to sail with the bbq donut boat in the canals.
