Gowtu 8 Years

Gowtu is celebrating its 8th anniversary. What once started in the small hall of the Melkweg has grown into one of the most well-known events where Surinamese music and influences take center stage.

8 years of pushing the Surinamese sound. 8 years of creating a stage. 8 years of bringing the community and our artists together.
We are proud of our contribution to making the Surinamese sound and its artists visible. Our mission is succeeding.

To celebrate this milestone, we are organizing a one-night-only special at Bitterzoet Amsterdam. An evening where we present something that has never been done before at the Bitter. With La Rouge live and the crème de la crème of the Surinamese scene, this promises to be a special evening.
