Vestrock
On May 31 and June 1, 2024, the 13th edition of VESTROCK will take place! Known as the festival that celebrates friendship, VESTROCK is an intimate two-day event on a beautiful island in the medieval town of Hulst (Zeeuws-Vlaanderen). Starting as a small event in 2010, it has grown into a unique and ambitious festival, attracting rock, pop, and dance enthusiasts from the Netherlands and Belgium while maintaining its friendly atmosphere. Housequake Festival
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 9 2024, for the House of House Festival, featuring the Housequake 'History of House' mini-festival at the stunning Noorderlicht site at the NDSM wharf, just a 10-minute ferry ride from Amsterdam Central. Wilde Weide Festival
The Wilde Weide Festival will take place from July 5-7, 2024, at the recreational area Netl de Wildste Tuin in Kraggenburg, with camping available from Thursday until noon on Monday. This festival offers a diverse mix of emerging bands and niche acts from both the Netherlands and abroad, featuring genres like indie, synthpop, experimental hip-hop, funk, roots reggae, psychedelia, post-punk, neoclassical, and left-field house and breakbeat. With three live stages and two DJ stages, each accommodating between 500 and 2,000 people, the festival aims to create an intimate club show atmosphere. The program, running from noon to 2 AM, is co-curated by musicians such as Donald Madjid, Sophie Straat, Suze Ijó, and Willem Smit. High Tea Festival
This one will take place on the 24th of August 2024! The High Tea Festival is the only Drum and Bass festival in Amsterdam this summer, offering 9 hours of music by the water. Located on the unique festival grounds of IJland, this intimate event features three stages: blazing D&B music, a silent disco in the sun, food, and plenty of activities. Additionally, the ventilation of the indoor stages has been improved for extra comfort and an optimised atmosphere. Summer isn't over yet, so make the most of it until the end!
