VLLA is a bar, stage and club in Amsterdam where creativity can blossom. An easygoing venue that is rough around the edges, where almost anything goes.
What used to be an abandoned funeral home has been renovated into the creative space we have today, VLLA. All the spaces and many materials have been remodeled and given a new spot within the building. Before, the rooms allowed families to mourn in private. Now they have been refashioned into small office rooms where several creative entrepreneurs can have a positive, comfortable working environment. VLLA even found a good use for the cooled storage from the previous design which is now used as a photo studio.
VLLA offers space for creativity, entrepreneurship, experiments and entertainment.
VLLA has a private backyard which happens to be the perfect hangout to catch up with your friends. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a street artists spray-painting a new piece on the wall. It’s worth the detour, you’ll feel right at home there.
VLLA offers space for creativity, entrepreneurship, experiments and entertainment. These four pointers in combination with parties, exhibitions, concerts or even BBQ’s, workshops and the artistic garden, are unique in Amsterdam. Which is also what makes VLLA so unique and stand out from many nightclubs in Amsterdam.
Over the years, several dj’s based in Amsterdam as well as international headliners like the Godfather of House, Todd Terry, have performed at VLLA. Just like that, VLLA hosts many more events where several artists come to perform their music. An example of such an event is “ReVil presents Deephouse Injection” where you can enjoy an atmospheric evening with the best Deephouse, House and Techno of this moment. Once you buy an Amsterdam Nightlife Ticket you get free access to more events like this one at VLLA. You would not want to miss it.
